STAR - Section
Targets for Annual Recognition
The STAR program
was established in the 1989-90 year as a means for Sections to perform
a self-evaluation of their efforts during the year. Criteria forms
are sent to all Sections each year to enable them to report on their
activities in areas such as educational opportunities, technical meetings,
conferences, Section finances and administration, work with students
and the general public, and participation in various Society-sponsored
events and contests. Sections who meet a specified number of criteria
receive an award at ANTEC each spring. For further information contact
