Microchannel cooling in computing platforms: Performance needs and challenges in implementation

Brief Bio

Himanshu Pokharna received his B.Tech and M.Tech from IIT Bombay and PhD from Purdue University- where he was an Andrews Fellow. Since then he has been with the semiconductor industry, first at Applied Materials and then for the last four years at Intel Corporation where he is responsible for new thermal technology development for cooling of laptop computers. He has 15 refereed journal and conference publications and over 30 issued and pending patents.
