has covered the plumbing and heating industry since 1990. Prior to joining PM in 1996,
Smith held editorial positions with Supply House Times, a plumbing wholesaler magazine,
and Plumbing Engineer, a trade magazine for specifying engineers.
He is a journalism graduate of the University of

Katie Rotella, Plumbing & Mechanical's
senior editor, joined the staff in June 1999 less than two weeks after graduating with a
bachelor's degree from Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Ill.
Rotella was the news and features editor of The
Leader. She was also editor-in-chief of Imprints, the student literary and art journal of
Elmhurst College. Rotella serves as New Products Editor of PMs, and writes news and feature
stories for the magazine.

Kelly Faloon is the newest member
of Plumbing & Mechanical's editorial staff, coming aboard as Senior Editor in
December 2001. A 1986 journalism graduate of Michigan State University, she came
to PM after a 3 1/2-year stint at sister publication, Supply House Times.
Previously, Faloon spent nearly 10 years at CCH
Incorporated, a business and tax law publishing firm, where she wore many hats, including
writer/editor for a daily tax publication.
A native of Michigan's northern Lower Peninsula, Faloon will write news and feature stories.

Stephanie Armstrong joined Plumbing &
Mechanical in early 1999 as the magazine's art director. She was formerly art
director of Modern Woodworking, formerly owned by Business News Publishing Co.
Armstrong has several years of design experience,
including a stint at an advertising agency. The next time you reach for Keebler® cookies
or Stouffer's® frozen foods, thank Stephanie. She developed the point of sale
material for both.

Scott Reimer, our Sales Manager covering
the Midwest for Plumbing & Mechanical and
Supply House Times, also serves as Publisher of PM Engineer. Reimer has been
with the magazines since April 1997. He has more than 12 years account management and sales
experience where his focus has been primarily on media sales.
He comes to Business News Publishing Co. from the
Chicago Sun-Times, where he was a regional account manager for the automotive market in
Chicagoland.

Tim Plymire is the West & Western Canada Sales
Manager for PM, and PM Engineer and Supply House Times magazines.
Tim comes from Reader's Digest Publications where he spent 10 years selling
advertising for a home improvement magazine called The Family Handyman.
Several clients in the plumbing and tool manufacturing industries are shared between
RD and BNP.
Prior to working at Reader's Digest, Tim spent four years working on the
advertising agency side of the business at Cramer-Krasselt/Chicago.
Tim is mechanically inclined and has remodeled his entire house himself.

Manager for PM, PM Engineer and Supply House Times. Jean will
handle the Central, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast states & Eastern Canada.
After receiving a Bachelor's degree from college Jean started her career at
MTI Graphics, an advertising agency that specialized in industrial accounts. She
was an Account Executive and Media Buyer for over five years.
For the past 10 years Jean has been a Regional Sales Manager for METAL CENTER
NEWS magazine. MCN is a monthly trade publication that reaches the metal
service center industry.
